The end of October signals fall is in full swing, and what better way to celebrate than with an Oktoberfest celebration filled with German food, a trick-or-treat trail and spooky Halloween fun on Bald Head Island?
Oktoberfest weekend gets off to a great start on Friday, October 29 with a Spooky Halloween Reading at Old Baldy at 7 p.m. presented by the Bald Head Island Readers’ Theater. Fun continues on Saturday with the Oktoberfest Celebration at the Harbourside Pavilion from 12-3 p.m.
The Island Agency presents a variety of homes for sale in an island-wide Parade of Homes from 1-4 p.m. At 3 p.m. drive your decorated cart through the Halloween Trick-or-Treat Trail which begins at the Harbourside Pavilion. The fun continues from 4-6 p.m. with Wine and Cheese at The Hammocks Model #54. Later that evening, head over to the Shoals Club for a Halloween Party from 6-9 p.m.

BHI Club. Bring your carved pumpkin to the Clubhouse
between 4 p.m. on 10/29 and Noon on 10/30 to be

1-4 p.m. Parade of Homes

Shoals Club Recreation. Drive your decorated cart
through a designated route in an island-wide trickor-
treat trail departing from the Harbourside Pavilion.

4-6 p.m. Wine and Cheese at the Hammocks
Hammocks Model Home #54. Learn about the benefits
of fractional ownership while enjoying wine and cheese

6-9 p.m. Halloween Party
Shoals Club. Come as you are or make the night interesting
and arrive in costume. Heavy hors d’oeuvres,
carving station and live entertainment. Adults, $25;
