The Easter Bunny will be hiding his eggs all over the Fun Court at The Winds and he’ll be there to officiate the hunt! At 12:00 p.m. kids ages 2 – 10 can bring their Easter baskets and join the hunt for fun, games and prizes. This is great fun for the whole family. Parents and grandparents will love watching the excitement as the kids hunt for eggs and play games!

Movies on the Coast
Want to spend some time outside in the gorgeous weather? Want to have a cheap date with someone special? Want to watch a movie filled with songs from the Motown era? Then we have an event for you!
Bring some popcorn and snacks and come to the Garrison Lawn at Fort Johnson (223 E. Bay St, Southport) to watch “Dream Girls.”
The event will be held Friday, May 13th and admission is free. The movie is being put on by the Brunswick County Parks & Recreation Department and the City of Southport Tourism Department.

Men’s Softball Registration
Brunswick County Parks and Recreation Department is offering Men’s Softball leagues. The leagues will play a regular season schedule with a double elimination tournament.
The season starts in early August. Team fees are $500 per team. Teams will play on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursday evenings at Lockwood Folly, Shallotte Park, or Smithville Park. Registration begins May 16th and ends July 12th.
A league managers meeting will be held Friday, July 15th at 6:30pm at the second floor training room of the Administration Building in Bolivia.
